Goddard Space Flight Center (GSFC), located in Greenbelt, Maryland, is our nation's premier organization dedicated to advancing knowledge of the Earth, the solar system, and the universe. GSFC work includes conducting Earth and space science research, developing flight missions, providing spacecraft tracking and data acquisition, and developing instruments to support its missions and information systems to manage the data from those missions.
